Chartwells is taking a pro-active approach to the supply of white fish in all sectors of its education business. By using various tried and tasted white fish species in a cyclical manner we can reduce our dependency on Cod alone. We intend to introduce a range of white fish such as Coley, Basa and Hake, along with Cod for use in dishes such as battered fish or breaded fish and chips. We have produced simple information flyers to inform and educate both our clients and consumers on this proactive approach.
Physical activity plays an importa nt role in keeping our bodies healthy. It is recommended that adults should be taking part in 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise 5 times a week. Children and young people should be taking part in 60 minutes of moderate intensity activity everyday!
Sports drinks provide a convenien t way to refuel your body with carbohydrate (energy drinks) and rehydrate (fluid replacement drinks) during and after exercise. Studies show they can help increase performance, endurance and delay fatigue during moderate or high intensity exercise lasting longer than one hour when compared to drinking water alone - but which type is best for your workout?
