Twenty five students submitted work for the Staveley Town Council Annual Arts and Crafts competition. The following students were successful and attended the presentation of their prizes at the Speedwell Rooms in Staveley on Friday July 8th. |

Springwell Community College helped break the world record for the biggest number of people to be involved in the recording of a song. ‘It’s Alright’ is available to download now ….. help us reach Number 1 in the UK Charts and raise money for ‘Save the Children’. |

It seems more than just a few months ago that our two and a half years of detailed planning, with the Local Authority, the two consortia initially bidding to win the contract and subsequently with the winning bidder Equitix (and their contracted building partner Bowmer & Kirkland), finally came to fruition in November 2010 and we moved into our fantastic new college premises. |
